REVIEW: Rouge Bunny Rouge Milk Aquarelle Liquid Foundation in Cashew Milk Parfait + COUPON CODE!

Even though one of my many crazed obsessions is the cushion compact, I have not totally ignored other foundation options. Before cushion compacts, I used everything from BB Creams, to liquid foundation, to foundation serums, and even powder foundations. One of my favorite kinds was liquid foundations; I always loved the look, feel, and coverage liquid foundations gave me. The only problem was that I was never able to find a liquid foundation that fit my every need... UNTIL NOW.

Today, I'll be reviewing the Milk Aquarelle Liquid Foundation in Cashew Milk Parfait from one of my favorite makeup brands, ever: Rouge Bunny Rouge. I've been a huge fan of their brushes (their crease brush and mini-shader brush are in my everyday essentials), but just recently started trying out some of their makeup products that they kindly sent to me for review. REVIEW

Packaging and Design
The Milk Aquarelle Liquid Foundation comes in a cylindrical cardboard tube decorated with butterflies and flowers like from an enchanted forest. Pulling apart the cardboard tube, reveals a smaller cylindrical bottle neatly nestled into the bottom of the box. The bottle of the foundation itself is made of a frosted glass that makes seeing the true foundation color from the bottle a bit difficult. The cap of the bottle and the pump are both a sleek matte black and the overall look of the bottle is very simplistic and luxurious. The bottle is a tad heavy, so this is definitely a product you want to be careful when placing down or putting away.

Ease of Use
The cap to the bottle is really easy to pull off and put back on. The pump is also a very nice quality that makes it incredibly easy to control how much product you want to dispense. This is the kind of foundation that isn't high-maitenence; you could apply this foundation with your fingers, a brush, a beautyblender, or my personal favorite and preferred choice: a puff (like the ones in cushion compacts)! It's recommend to quickly blend the Milk Aquarelle Liquid Foundation with a brush for a flawless finish, but I found that applying with a puff works amazingly well too.

Texture and Scent
This is the first foundation I have ever fell completely in love with! The texture is unbeatable. The foundation is a soft gel-like texture that is creamy, but not watery or runny. It has a light, air-y, whipped consistency. It's smooth, moisturizing, and easily blendable for flawless natural coverage. I like to wear the Milk Aquarelle Liquid Foundation for a light coverage, but this liquid foundation is buildable up to a full coverage. This foundation feels very lightweight, like second skin! It has such a breathable formula that I can't even tell that I'm wearing it.

***NOTE: I just wanted to show you guys that the amount in the BEFORE photo is enough to cover my whole face! I took some out while rubbing it in because it was more than enough to cover my hand.

Effectiveness
This foundation is NO JOKE. It's honestly my favorite liquid foundation I have ever used and I prefer it over everything. There's never been a foundation that has come close to reaching all of my high standards I set, but this one has.

All I need is about one pump to cover my entire face, so this product will definitely last you a while.
There's no settling into your fine lines, no emphasizing dry spots, no enlarging or calling attention to pores, no cakeyness, no nothing! It leaves your face a smooth, even surface with a soft luminous glow.  The Milk Aquarelle Liquid Foundation has a satin silky finish that isn't sticky or greasy. It minimizes and blurs your imperfections while also lasting all day. I tested it for 12 hours straight and didn't notice any changes in the wear; it looked almost as good as when I first applied it! However, after about 8 hours, I did notice that the satin finish changed to a dewy glow, but it actually looked really pretty and maintained the natural "second skin" look. I also noticed little to none oxidization when wearing this throughout the day.

RATING: 5/5

This is seriously my go-to foundation and I just cannot rave enough about it! The only downside is that it's slightly pricey, but in all seriousness, it's definitely worth it. After all, this is my HOLY GRAIL foundation! I recommend this foundation to everybody (there's 5 shades) and for those with normal, combination, or dry skin types! This foundation will NOT disappoint you.
